Environmental education programs

We design environmental education programs for educational establishments, working together with teachers in the co-creation of an educational curriculum focused on local ecosystems in order to generate appreciation and actions for environmental protection.

Sports workshops

adventure

We develop outdoor workshops on freediving, kayaking and hiking in urban areas and around Cochrane. Our team has advanced first aid courses to provide the necessary safety measures in all activities.

Workshops of

interpretation

environmental

Group workshops in the classroom or on-site, promoting scientific research into nearby ecosystems.

The workshops include activities such as "leave no trace", "recognition of flora and fauna species", "bird watching" and "macro-invertebrate sampling", among others. Camping, outdoor cooking and waste management are included.

We work in collaboration with public and private organizations in the Aysén region associated with the academic and scientific field such as the University of Magallanes, CIEP and the Houngusto social innovation prototype.

Tours

Juveniles

We organize youth tours with educational institutions or organizations linked to the environment that are interested in traveling to the Glaciers province. We plan and execute a program that includes camps, adventure sports, an approach to local culture and environmental education workshops. We work in collaboration with Rios To Rivers, an NGO that develops student exchanges between the United States and Chile with the objective of protecting rivers.

Volunteering

Reforestation

Several times a year, volunteer activities are carried out with people from the Cochrane community or students from the Liceo, in which we move to a property to reforest with native trees such as ñire, lenga, ciruelillo or coihue. In the last year, these activities have been carried out in conjunction with CONAF.
